Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I do the Mat & the Reformer course simultaneously?
Yes, the ideal Pilates practice combines mat with equipment, so doing the courses together will help you see and feel the difference in your body quicker.

2. Can I attend a beginner's course if I have an injury?
As a physio-led studio, we are expertly placed to help those with pain or injuries. However, for our group sessions, you must be able to get on and off the floor independently. If you have recently had surgery, you must have your surgeon's clearance to start exercising.

3. If I have pain or an injury & I am not sure if the class is for me, what can I do?
We have a team of Physio & Sports Therapists who offer 1 to 1 appointments.
If you have an undiagnosed issue or need hands-on treatment (e.g., massage, joint mobilisations, acupuncture, etc.), we advise booking an Initial Assessment and first Treatment Appointment.
If you have a diagnosed condition or injury and want to attend an individual session before joining a group class, we advise booking a Pilates 1-to-1 session.
Following either of these appointments, we can advise if a class is the best option for you and, if not, recommend a plan for the future.

4. What happens if I cannot make it to a class?
If you let us know in advance, we will do our best to switch you to another session that week. Please be aware that this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. If you fail to attend a class without 24 hours' prior knowledge, the class is lost and cannot be refunded or redeemed.

5. What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice to cancel any appointments or classes.

6. Do you offer refunds?
No, once you have bought the course, your purchase is non-refundable and not redeemable against any other service. In exceptional circumstances, if you had to withdraw from the course, we may be able to move you to another course. Please be aware that this depends upon availability and will be decided individually.

7. What happens once I have completed the Beginner Course?
Once you have completed the beginner course, you can attend any class on the timetable. We offer PAYG, class pass, or monthly membership options. This allows you to choose when you want to come to class and how many times a week you wish to attend. The majority of clients book a weekly/regular class, but our timetable allows flexibility for those who might not be able to attend the same class each week.
Some clients chose to repeat the Beginner Course & rebook for the next course. You can repeat the Beginner Course as many times as you like until you feel comfortable to join a mixed level class.
